First of all, allow me to deeply thank the Fondazione, Istituto Fondazione di Oncologia Molecolare for hosting us today and for giving me the opportunity to witness the remarkable work performed here. Well, I think it was crucial, and I have to come back.
I would also like to recognise and appreciate the hard work by the Associazione Italiana per la Ricerca sul Cancro and the Asociación Española contra el Cancer for the hard work in organising this very important event for the world cancer research. All of us gathered here today share a strong commitment to promoting and advancing cancer research.
Our foremost goal is to ensure that the knowledge derived from this research truly and effectively reaches patients as quickly as possible. This year, you know, the focus is on innovation. Innovation is trying to make the knowledge transfer into reality to enhance equity in the access to treatments and, of course, to improve both the survival rates and, of course, the quality of life for patients.
So let us now listen to those who have the deepest insights and could bring the visibility to the invaluable effort of scientists and researchers.
Thank you all for being here. And, of course, thank you also for your dedication to this.
Thank you.
